Meghe Group of Institutions (MGI) has a long history of excellence in all genre of education. This Constitution of institute was formed with single minded purpose of developing a network of educational institutes for providing quality education in various disciplines of study in Vidarbha, a relatively lss developed region in our country. The one man, whose vision changed millions of lives for the better, forever is Shri Dattaji Meghe. A man of humble origins, his even humbler demeanor, belies his gigantic achievements. He has toiled day and night for over 4 decades to bring health, education, prosperity and happiness to one of the most backward regions of the country.
He is in active public life for more than 36 years. He represented the people of Maharashtra in Lok Sabha for three consecutive terms and was also a Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) for one term. He strongly believes that quality Education & Health only can bring about true transformation of the huge human resources of our nation. Under his visionary leadership, the Institutions have grown qualitatively and all the eligible Institutions are quality assured by the respective accrediting agency. The result is the multifaceted Meghe group with interests in Health Care, Realty & Infrastructure, Information Technology, Banking &Textiles in the co-operative sector as well as major initiatives in the CSR sector. But it is education that has always been the sheet anchor of the Meghe Group, for it firmly believes that only education has the transformative potential to make India a developed nation. What was started with a single small institute is today a colossal enterprise, from pre-nursery to Ph.D; Meghe Group straddles the powerhouse of education.
Shri Datta Meghe’s pre-occupation with superior quality transcends into education. He insists on getting the best faculties, well-equipped labs, etc. and providing best of amenities to the students. His efforts have brought the fruitful result as we see them today.
